7th post

On today's lesson we cooked omelets. We cooked one omelet each. We also had to cook it with feelings. For the feelings we had ham, cheese and tomatoes. I had a bit of trouble because of broken pepper-shaker and a lot of pepper peas fell into the bowl with crumbled egg. I took it out with a fork, but it slowed my work down a bit. But then everything was alright, except for the folding it in half. That happened because I had a lot of stuff on top of my omelet and there wasn't enough free omelet to fold it.
Anyway, the omelet looked pretty good and was really tasty.

5th post

In last lesson we weren't cooking because Mrs George wasn't here, so we had theory and we did our assignments.

6th post

On today's lesson we also didn't cook and had theory. We've completed sheet for our assignments, we chose ingredients for our muffins. We also completed one more activity and then we were doing our assignments.

On the lesson we cooked sandwiches. We had a bit of trouble with putting all things together because everything just kept falling out. But then we removed some lettuce and we got two good-looking sandwiches. Our sandwiches were especially tasty because of the reason that we toasted bread. I think we've done pretty good job.

3rd post

Today we finished our 'Food Safety and Hygiene' activity. Today I was cooking and Danielle was helping me. We cooked Ham and Corn Flitters. It was pretty easy. I don't think we had any problems with that one. The Fritters were pretty tasty. So I think we've done a good job.

2nd post

On today's lesson we were doing "Food safety and hygiene" activity. That means that one person from a pair is cooking, other one is helping him and taking notes 'what were the pluses in work', 'what were the minuses' and 'what were the improvements' . Danielle was student number one and she cooked the Jaffa Pikelets. We had some difficulties and made couple of mistakes during the work, but then we fixed them and even improved our skills. The pikelets were really tasty and well cooked. So I think we did a great job.

1st post

On the first lesson we were in the kitchen, but we didn't cook. We completed some questions on the sheet that Mrs George gave us. Next lesson will be cooking lesson. For homework we have to read our recipe book so we will be ready to cook.
