On today's lesson we were on classroom doing theory. We were watching clip on decorating cupcakes for our assignment. We had to do some research and find pictures of the cupcakes and their decorations. After we've done that, we had to complete a sheet with couple of activities which will help us to choose what sort of cupcake we are going to do.
At the beginning of the lesson,in our groups of 4 we had to choose which technique of mixing the ingredients we are going to do. We had to choose out of "melt and mix","quick mix", "beating" and "creaming". I chose "quick mix". We will cook 12 cupcakes each by the way we've just chosen. And we will look at all the cupcakes and choose which technique is more suitable for cooking cupcakes and this will be the way we will cook cupcakes for the assignment.

I did some research and decided that I'm going to cook two flours of the cupcakes: vanilla and chocolate. For the decorations, I've decided that I'm going to use icing of different colours such as pink, plain colour and probably green.

We also had to choose an event that we are going to cook our cupcakes for, I've decided that my cupcakes are going to be for my mom's birthday party. I'm doing cupcakes with berries because my mom loves different berries and they don't look really messy which is good. They are also not that hard to make, so that means that they won't take much time which is also an important aspect of doing this assignment.
